Sup Fellas,
This is my first review, but not my last. Feedback would be nice so I can improve and get some really good reviews for you guys.
Sonic Syndicate is one of my favorite Melodic Death Metal bands. Originating from Sweden, These guys were formed in 2002 under the name of “Fallen Angels” and later renamed to “Sonic Syndicate” in 2005. There music is heavily influenced by other Swedish melodic death metal bands such as In Flames and Soilwork.
These fellas play some damn good Death Metal. The band being made up of a lead singer, a screamer, two guitarists, a keyboardist and a drummer, they aren’t short a member. Sonic Syndicate pumps out albums every now and again, their latest one being “Love and Other Disasters” which was released mid 2008.
A couple of brilliant songs from that album are Jack Of Diamonds and My Escape . Both of which have magnificent music videos highlighting the songs strong points and adding only epicness
. The songs emphasis different words and get the listener thinking about the meaning and themes that go along with the words and song.
With fantastic lyrical combination and perfect guitar rifts matched with awesome drumming, these guys play some mean music. With Sonic Syndicate seeming to only be in the early stages of their career, I look forward to seeing what other great albums they bring into play. I myself will be following this band around for awhile.
